http://www.magnolia.info/
============================================================
Dear members of the Magnolia mailing list,
there have been many changes on http://www.magnolia.info
since we last sent out an announcement, so this one is packed
with excitement! Let me take a moment to explain where we are
at and where we are going.
1. Magnolia International
2. New Issue tracker
3. Restructered www.magnolia.info
4. wiki.magnolia.info
5. Magnolia at OSCOM conference
6. Magnolia 2.0 technology preview
-----------------------------------------------
1. Magnolia International
-----------------------------------------------
We have founded Magnolia International to take over
maintenance of the community site. The following
responsibilities for Magnolia International have been defined:
* build the Magnolia community
* market the Magnolia brand
* build, market and manage Magnolia certification programs
* manage commercial activities regarding Magnolia
* manage legal aspects regarding the Magnolia CMS
This is one of the steps we have undertaken to open up
Magnolia for your contributions (see
http://magnolia.info/en/community/contribute.html for how you
can contribute to Magnolia).
Another goal is to foster Magnolia partnerships. The
partnership concept is in its early stages at the moment,
but please visit
http://magnolia.info/en/international/partner.html
to see what its all about.
-----------------------------------------------
2. New Issue tracker
-----------------------------------------------
We have received an open source license from Jira and
installed this excellent issue tracker. We welcome your
feedback, please visit
http://magnolia.info/en/community/developer/feedback.html
for details. You can find the issue tracker at
http://jira.magnolia.info/
The previous issue tracker at sourceforge is being
discontinued.
-----------------------------------------------
3. Restructered www.magnolia.info
-----------------------------------------------
We have moved www.magnolia.info away from the obinary home
page, updated the templates with a better menu and
restructured the content. Please pay a visit to
http://www.magnolia.info for latest changes and additions.
-----------------------------------------------
4. wiki.magnolia.info
-----------------------------------------------
Ralf Hirning has been so kind and started a wiki, which
has been greeted with enthusiasm from the developer
community. He has happily agreed to move the wiki to
magnolia.info so that Magnolia information is available
under one roof.
The wiki is a great place for you to share and comment code
examples, installation instruction or anything else regarding
Magnolia. Share generously at http://wiki.magnolia.info
-----------------------------------------------
